International Student Network – recruitment

ISN is an organization under the University of Wrocław (not Hogwarts, but we are so magical and cool people often mistake it), which is made by students for… WIZARDS! Sorry, we meant students, of course. You may know us from our social media as “the people from events” and well, you wouldn’t be wrong! The ISN is here to make your long years at this University a little more fun and magical! From study dates, through the book club in the wish room, picnics under an invisible roof, Mandrake potting workshops and trips to forbidden forests (or how they are also called, just Wałbrzych forests)… Are you interested already? Not yet? Well, events are not the only thing we do. As an organization, we represent university students before the University, trying our best to represent all international students and contribute to our local community.

First, this year we are offering two membership types:

allows you to participate in all the events as a volunteer. You don’t have so much work and only take part in groups if you want to.
!If you choose this type of membership, you don’t get the official credit for your work with us!

🫶full membership🫶
allows you to be active in the departments meaning that you are entitled to organizing events, creating content, participating in the information, and be a full member of ISN.

✨🦋The house of the butterfly🦋✨EVENTS DEPARTMENT
From hikes, through museum visits, all the way to integration picnics – these guys take care of all of the initiatives that you see on our Instagram page. They have more project ideas than there are days in the year and have probably walked up and down the Ślęża mountain like a thousand times. If you’re good at multi-tasking, have a head full of project ideas, and work well in a team, definitely apply!

🪸🪼The house of the jellyfish🪼🪸CREATIVE DEPARTMENT
This department will be a good fit for a) people who like creative work (writing, graphic design, photos, videos — you name it!), but also b) people who don’t mind last minute assignments. Our Creative Team works tirelessly to reach out to students and promote whatever the Events Team has come up with, and they are always on the lookout for new faces and fresh takes. Hop in!

📖🦉The house of the owl🦉📖 INFORMATION DEPARTMENT
If you’re in the Buddy System chats, you might know our Information experts as the people replying to all of the questions basically day and night. They know the answer to just about anything, aren’t afraid to write a strongly-worded letter to a consul if needed, and have the International Office on speed dial. Great place for getting experience with problem-solving, working with people, and managing crises.
